Jeremy Sons named Tumbleweed General Manager of the Year
Louisville, KY - February 20, 2010 - Jeremy Sons of Seymour, IN was named a 2009 Tumbleweed Restaurants General Manager of the Year at an awards gala on February 6, 2010.
Tumbleweed recognizes top General Managers from restaurants throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio each year. One GM from each of its three restaurant groups is selected annually as that group's General Manager of the Year and Sons, who runs Tumbleweed Seymour, won the 2009 honor at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville.
Sons has a reputation for being a highly competitive GM, and it shows. His long list of achievements in 2009 included a mystery shopper average of 95%. Further, even with unit sales down severely, he nevertheless managed to boost his store's OPI to 28.7%. His restaurant also scored in the top five in the Tumbleweed healthy practices audits. Sons was also the recipient of the 2001 and 2003 General Manager of the year.
