Denise Townsend names Tumbleweed General Manager of the Year
LOUISVILLE, KY - February 16, 2011 - Denise Townsend, a South Fulton, TN native, was named a 2010 Tumbleweed Restaurants Café General Manager of the Year at an awards gala on February 5, 2011.
Tumbleweed recognizes a top General Manager from restaurants throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio each year. One is selected annually as Café General Manager of the Year and Townsend, who runs Tumbleweed's Jefferson Mall Café store, won the 2010 honor at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville.
Townsend is no stranger to the restaurant industry - she previously worked for 4 other restaurant brands before joining the Tumbleweed family in September of 2000. She celebrates her success with her parents and 11 siblings.
